This document describes the prerequisites and soft-and hardware requirements for installing CWR Server and the CWR Mobile Client.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Server prerequisites:
(Automatically installed during installation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0)
- Microsoft Application Error Reporting.
- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime.
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Service Report Viewer Control.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0.
- Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 6.0.
- SQL Native Client.
CWR Server prerequisites:
- The CWR server component requires a SQL Server installation to initialize its configuration database.
- The CWR Server component requires Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to operate.
- The CWR server component requires network or local access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 after initialization of the configuration database.
The CWR Server installation has the following user requirements:
- Administrative rights on the server platform.
- Administrative rights on Microsoft SQL Server to install the configuration database and content databases.
- User rights to create new databases on the database platform.
- The user initializing the Setup Configuration must be a valid CRM user with administrative rights.
Edit Soft-and Hardware Requirements
CWR Mobile Client software requirements:
- MS Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC and SmartPhone Edition or MS Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 Classic or Professional Edition.
- Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 + SP2 or newer. (Automatically installed during installation)
- Microsoft SQL Compact 3.5. (Automatically installed during installation)
- CWR mobile client installer package for automatic package delivery.
CWR Mobile Client hardware requirements:
- Processor: No minumum requirements. However, our advice is 400 Mhz or higher.
- RAM: 64MB minimum.
- Graphics adapter: VGA minimum.
Microsoft SQL Server software requirements:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 32 or 64 bits Standard or Enterprise Editions with Service Pack 2.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 32 or 64 bits Workgroup, Standard or Enterprise Editions.
CWR Server platform requirements:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 32-bits or 64-bits with Service Pack 2.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 32-bits or 64-bits.
CWR Server software requirements:
- IIS 6.0 or 7.0.
- Indexing Services enabled.
- IIS Admin Service.
- World Wide Web Publishing Service.
- Windows Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.81 or newer.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 + SP1 or newer.
- Microsoft Management Console 3.0.
